Kante-Kova-Jorginho is a bad idea and Lampard should bin it!

Between the last couple of international breaks, Chelsea hit a purple patch. Every game the team looked better and Lampard even more of a genius. But of course, the big tests were coming. Manchester City away — a shot at going four points clear of the champions. Valencia away — a shot at qualifying for UCL knockouts top of the group. As it turned out, we failed both the tests. We were definitely not outplayed, but the performances worried us Chelsea fans and justifiably so.

One of the key changes after the international break is the formation we have played in the last two games. The 4–3–3 allows Lampard to play all three of Kante, Kovacic, and Jorginho. But this is what could be the stumbling block for Chelsea because the rest of the team and even these three midfielders are not ready to play the formation. Below I explain why.
